I had to get this DVR thingie when I moved in here, and now I'm not sure how I lived without it. I started recording the new episodes of SNL a few weeks ago, and its a throwback to the days of Pops recording the show on VHS for us, and then we would watch it on Sunday morning. I'm pretty sure when he started doing that we thought we were real cool for having a VCR that you could program to record at a certain time instead of physically being there to hit record and stop at the end. Yeah, its rare for me to watch SNL as its being aired, but who cares! At least now I can watch all of the skits instead of having Zack and Cody fast forward through anything they thought was too crude for me to watch (of course, they were sooooo much older than me).
And in case you haven't seen SNL in a while, the guy who does impressions of Obama.... priceless.
Apparently tickets are nearly impossible to get, but its still my dream to see a taping in person.... I'll just have to practice staying up late. :)

That is wild... we always wanted to do that too. Maybe a group of us should make a trip of it and I can leave the kiddos with their dad. It will be a little while before I am ready for a big trip, but the day is approaching fast. It would rock.
while we are there, can we ride the cash cab?
