A Lot of Bad Words...

...are being said right now. It's June 11th. I woke up to my phone buzzing. Most people know not to bug me in the morning. A text message said, "Look out your window." Uh, no thank you. As I started drifting back to sleep I thought of what that could mean. Then I jumped out of bad and ran out the front door as it hit me... snow. Freakin' snow. Replace the freakin' with your choice of four letter words and I probably said it this morning. Normally those 'Look Outside' messages come in winter on any early powder morning. Thanks stupid weather people for telling me the low was 37 last night so I didn't cover my plants and bring in what I could.

The first hole of the golf course is in the back of the last picture. I doubt I'll be seeing anybody out there today since the snow is sticking on the golf course grass, but you never know in Steamboat. And now my fire just kicked on. I had the thermostat set to 50. Might I add that yesterday was actually almost like spring/summer? The high was 75 and it was clear and sunny.

As one of my friends said the other day, "Snow isn't cool unless you can ride."

OH GOSH!!!! That is wild. Look on the bright side... at least you don't have to water... even though you would rather be watering. If I got a phone message saying look out your window... I would freak, it kind of sounds like something off of a scary movie. Hopefully tomorrow will bring the sun with it. Take care and have fun sitting and watching it snow and snow and snow. I will be watching the wind blow and blow and blow.
