Let it Snow!

Yesterday I had to buy my season pass for this winter at Steamboat, since today is the last day before it goes up by $300. I heard somebody in the grocery store say yesterday that it could snow in the mountains. Well its true... it snowed up in the mountains! Not our mountain, but some close by. The famous Eisenhower Tunnel has snow sticking right now, and apparently there is more in the forecast for tonight in the higher elevations. The elevation of the tunnel is around 11,000 feet, while the summit of Steamboat's resort is around 10k. So..... maybe, just maybe, tonight there will be a couple flakes up there! Now don't you worry all you cynics of snow, it won't start sticking for good until October at least, and there is plenty of warm weather between now and then.

Oh, and last year we had a record year for snow. It's been an awesome season down in the Southern Hemisphere also, which is normally a good indicator of our season. So, in conclusion, you all need to come visit this winter and see all this good stuff for yourself.
