Since I first heard about the Winter X-Games, I've always wanted to go. This year, I rallied a bunch of friends and we are all cramming into a hotel on Sunday night. The Games started today, but Sunday night is the event I most want to see, Men's Superpipe Finals. And, I get to take my new bad ass camera in with me! My favorite rider, Danny Kass (saw him in 2002 Olympics), will be there, along with many other big names... Shaun White, Mason Aguirre, Antti Autti, and some younger riders I really enjoy watching, like Kevin Pearce and Danny Davis. I'm sure everyone that reads my blog has noooooo idea who most of these guys are, but I'm pretty psyched to see the top riders in the world! And, to top it off, all the X Games events are free!
I've been a little horrible about posting lately. I got my new camera in October, and I think I've taken about 2000 pics since then, so one of these days I will hunker down and try to post some of my faves. But, I'll definately try to post my Superpipe pics next week.

Oh, and in case you are wondering, the X Games are on every night Thursday-Sunday, 7-9 mountain time, on ESPN. I think we are planning on finding a spot somewhere higher up on the pipe near the top where the first hits will be. If you see a sign for Danny Kass, it could just be me!

Rock On!!! It will be a blast. As always, we will hunker down in front of the boob tube to watch.. hopefully we will be playing cards too. Have fun..........
